The Federation Council told about the threat of the spread of fakes about vaccination
The punishment for spreading fakes about coronavirus vaccination includes a fine or up to three years of restriction of liberty. This was stated by the chairman of the Federation Council committee on constitutional legislation Andrei Klishas, RIA Novosti reports.
According to him, recently the publication of deliberately false information about the vaccination procedure and its consequences has become more frequent on the Internet. Klishas noted that these actions have a high degree of public danger.
Individuals for spreading such fakes can receive a restriction of freedom for up to three years. For legal entities, a fine is from 1.5 to 3 million rubles.
Earlier it was reported that Roskomnadzor in 2021 blocked or deleted 399 Internet pages with data on the sale of certificates of vaccination against COVID-19 and fake QR codes for visiting public places.
