The fate of Dmitry Shlyakhtin, the former head of the All-Russian Athletics Federation (ARAF), involved in a doping scandal, has become known. This was reported on the website of the independent disciplinary body Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU).

Shlyakhtin was suspended for four years in the case of Russian high jumper Daniil Lysenko. Former executive director of the ARAF Alexander Parkin, former employees of the federation Elena Ikonnikova and Elena Orlova, and board member Artur Karamyan received similar punishments.
