Remains of Ukrainian soldiers killed during Il-76 accidents may be transferred to Ukraine in the near future. This statement was made by Russian Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova.
The Russian propaganda publication RIA Novosti writes about this.
According to Moskalkova, all expert procedures in the Russian Federation on the bodies of the dead have been completed.
“The Russian Federation has the will to hand over the bodies and Ukraine is ready to accept them,” she noted.
However, details on the timing have not yet been disclosed.
Recall that Russia stated that they are ready to transfer to Ukraine the supposed bodies of prisoners of war who died during the crash of the Il-76 plane in the Belgorod region on January 24.
