In addition, they advised to replace the mask if its elastic bands are stretched. Such a mask will not fit tightly to the face, which means that the risk of infection will increase.
Not all products can be machine washed, experts said. Moreover, if stains remain on the mask after washing, it must be disposed of. Regardless of the degree of contamination, any reusable mask is designed for 30 uses.
You can find out whether a cloth mask is worn out or not by whether steam passes through it from the mouth in the cold, or whether it will be possible to blow out a candle through it. If so, it has become thinner and should be removed.
