Smartphone owners need to “audit” applications, information stored in the cloud, and data received from instant messengers on a monthly basis. Denis Kuskov, director of the information and analytical agency Telecom daily, told the Prime agency about this. According to him, it is this content that most often clogs the memory of a mobile device.
According to him, most people have more than a hundred applications installed on their smartphones, while only ten of them are constantly used, not counting technical applications. To free up space on the gadget, it is worth deleting applications that have not been used during this time every month. For faster smartphones, it is advisable to disable push notifications in unnecessary applications and do not forget about applications that run in the background.
It is also recommended to check the information stored in the cloud so as not to increase the amount of data transferred. Kuskov recalled that companies require additional money for storage in excess of the minimum volume, thus, by clearing memory, you can save money.
The expert urged not to duplicate all pictures, content, video and audio that come through instant messengers to the phone's memory. You can turn off the auto save function in the phone settings. Otherwise, unnecessary information will increase the cloud and be stored in the archive of the messenger itself.
In August, the head of the IT department of the software developer Reksoft, Evgeny Chertok, revealed the harm of mobile applications for the operation of a smartphone. For example, when many applications are running, errors can accumulate. Rebooting them removes them with a clean boot of the system and applications. He recommended to close more often applications that are not being used at the time of work.
