The explanation for this massive social failure must be found in something simple, not in conspiracy theory. This point of view on the air of the TV channel “MIR 24” was expressed by the expert on cybersecurity Pavel Myasoedov.
“We sometimes subconsciously want to believe in a conspiracy theory – it gives mysticism and drama to our life, but in this case it is worth trying to explain this kind of thing or look for an explanation for them in something simple,” he said.
Pavel Myasoedov suggested that anonymous reports about the beginning of a mass failure a few minutes before its start, most likely, were made by some engineer who saw “that the configuration is starting to crumble.”
“If it were in five hours, it would most likely be something more serious. But in 15 minutes, some engineer already saw that a certain configuration was pouring in (Facebook is a big company), and to make his page, blog or himself popular, or just to make life dramatic, he made this kind of stuffing, ”said the expert …
