The European Union will facilitate the process of supplying military aid to Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the European Council Charles Michel in his Twitter.
“EU defense in action – within the framework of support to Ukraine. We will facilitate the delivery of military aid from the EU to Ukraine. Democratic Ukraine will win,” he said.
Earlier, the German government announced that it would send 1,000 anti-tank guns and 500 Stinger missiles to Ukraine. In addition, the government approved the transfer of 400 German-made anti-tank guns from the Netherlands and 9 D-30 howitzers and ammunition from Estonia. Prior to this, Germany has repeatedly refused to supply weapons to this country.
