EU: missile launches carried out by the DPRK threaten international and regional security

The EU countries condemn a series of missile launches carried out by the North Korean authorities. According to the representatives of the association, this may threaten the security not only of the region, but also of the whole world. The statement is quoted by RIA Novosti.
In addition, Pyongyang with its exercises prevents the resumption of dialogue between the West and Seoul, the official representative of the EU foreign policy service said.
“The DPRK must fully fulfill its obligations in accordance with the UN Security Council resolution. The EU once again calls on the DPRK to stop destabilizing actions, to respond constructively to the readiness for dialogue on the part of the United States and the Republic of Korea,” the message reads.
North Korea allegedly launched two cruise missiles simultaneously into the sea on January 25. The launch of shells from the east coast in the direction of the Sea of Japan was carried out just a few days after a series of tests of ballistic missiles. According to the publication, the military is now studying the data obtained to more accurately determine the type of projectiles.
