As you know, on May 30, EU leaders agreed on the sixth package of sanctions against Russia, which provides for the disconnection of Sberbank from SWIFT “, “Rosselkhozbank” and the Moscow Credit Bank. These large Russian banks, in order to transfer money abroad and make transactions within the country, will be forced to switch to an isolated domestic system.
Sberbank and Rosselkhozbank assure that they will continue to work as usual , hoping for the uninterrupted operation of its own financial messaging system, created by the Bank of Russia in response to the risks of disconnecting organizations from SWIFT.
The ICB drew attention to the fact that transactions within the country will proceed normally, however, the timing of payments for the border may increase.
Recall that earlier, due to EU sanctions, 7 Russian banks were disconnected from SWIFT.
