Epidemiologist Eduard Shunkov told how the super-spreader of coronavirus infection could infect 1.5 thousand people. This may be due to the peculiarities of the human immune system, the specialist believes.
– The body of such a sick person creates favorable conditions for faster replication of viral particles and their greater release into the external environment, – the expert quotes the TV channel “360”.
Shunkov added that other factors could be the lifestyle or profession of the distributor. In particular, a person could often visit crowded places where social distance was not observed.
Earlier, the head of the branch of the Vector scientific center in Yekaterinburg, Alexander Semyonov, said that one person in Russia infected one and a half thousand others with a new coronavirus infection at once. This is the maximum case of superproliferation that has been recorded in the country, he said. At the same time, according to statistics, one person infected with coronavirus infects an average of one to three people. As noted, in the case of the “Indian” strain of COVID-19, the number of infected can reach five to six people.
