The aggressor country Russia uses mercenaries from the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass as cannon fodder to identify the firing positions of the Ukrainian army.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, the Russian Federation is now actively conducting “mobilization” men in ORDLO (certain districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions). These “divisions” they have very low combat training, discipline and morale.
Subsequently, mercenaries from ORDLO are sent to “reconnaissance in force” as a forward echelon to reveal the location of the firing positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The mercenaries suffer heavy losses at the same time.
– According to the “mobilized” themselves, the Russian command uses them as “bait livestock”. That is, as an advanced echelon of reconnaissance in force. Units are sent in military vehicles to the collision line, ignoring the high casualties. And in this way they determine the location of the firing positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, & # 8212; note in intelligence.
As an example, the department spoke about one of these units, which had 250-300 people in its composition. During March 16-17, it lost about 200 “mobilized” mercenaries in the Mykolaiv direction.
– The remnants of the unit that returned to the Kherson region are absolutely demoralized and refuse to further participate in hostilities, — added in the department.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, cases of suicide and bodily harm have become more frequent in the ranks of Putin's troops. The personnel of the enemy is demoralized.
The low morale of the Russian invaders was also reported in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The department noted that the enemy does not have the opportunity to replenish his provisions and fuel for equipment.
