The General Staff emphasized that the columns of armored vehicles of the Russian Federation slowed down the pace of the offensive against Ukraine. They had problems with supply: the Russian troops were left without a systematic supply of ammunition and fuel.
– Having not achieved success in capturing the regional centers of Kharkov and Chernigov, the invaders fired rockets at residential areas of these cities. In addition, the Russian invaders continue to keep the Ukrainian cities of Sumy, Lebedin and Akhtyrka surrounded , the enemy is regrouping in order to continue the offensive in the direction of Kiev, the General Staff added.
As for the Donetsk region, there, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian troops are trying to capture the city of Mariupol, using artillery . The enemy did not achieve success, as well as the goal of reaching the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
In the Tauride direction, Russian troops reached the line in the areas of Skadovsk, Kherson, Hola Pristan, Novaya Kakhovka. There is an offensive in the direction of the city of Nikolaev.
In the areas of the settlements of Bucha, Gostomel (Kyiv region) and Novaya Basan (Chernihiv region), cases of looting and robbery by Russian invaders were recorded.
