What missiles are the Russians attacking/Collage of Channel 24

Russians have not flown into Ukrainian airspace for more than 2 months. They fire rockets from other territories. At the same time, the enemy saves money, because more and more often it hits with Soviet shells.

Ukrainian aviation daily strikes at the positions of infidels. Yuriy Ignat, speaker of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, spoke about this during a briefing, Channel 24 reports.

Since the beginning of the invasion, aviation has dealt more than 1,700 strikes. The biggest targets now are enemy logistics centers, ammunition depots.

Russians do not fly into Ukrainian airspace

Ignat noted that the Russians have not flown into Ukrainian airspace for 2 and a half months. The enemy has changed its tactics: it operates from the territory of Belarus, Russia, the Black and Caspian Seas. From there, the occupiers launch various types of cruise missiles.

According to the speaker, now the Russians mainly use Soviet-made missiles. There is talk that they are running out of stocks of high-tech missiles, for example, Caliber or Iskander.

Therefore, the invaders use Kh-22, Kh-59, Kh-31 missiles.

Which missiles are the hardest to shoot down

The Air Force does everything to shoot down the enemy's missiles, if it's not easy. Ignat said that most often they shoot down missiles flying at a speed of about 900 kilometers per hour. These are “Caliber”, X-55, X-101.

It is much more difficult to shoot down missiles of operational-tactical systems. This is Iskander, Tochka U. The latter flies at a speed of more than 4 thousand kilometers per hour, and the Iskander – more than 8 thousand kilometers per hour.

The rest of the missiles have a speed of more than 3 thousand kilometers per hour. In particular, X-22, which ended up in a shopping center in Kremenchug, X-31 and Onyx. These are also difficult targets for our air defense.
