The enemy does not track the Ukrainians by geolocation – State Special Communications Service

by alex

The State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine denied the information about tracking Ukrainians by the geolocation of their gadgets.

– Enabled geolocation on the phone does not help the enemy to aim at targets.
But we urge you not to distribute photos and videos with your geolocation tags to the public,” the service said.

The State Service for Special Communications added that smartphones on Android or iOS do not send the location. If you want to “disappear” – you need to turn on airplane mode.

– Do not share information in public chats about how and where it is easy to get to. Only in private messages with friends, but best of all – in a telephone conversation. Do not “compliment” the enemy: if the Russians had the technology to track your location the previous two days, why would they need to put marks? – added to the State Special Communications Service.
