In Germany, a drug dealer fell asleep on the phone, called emergency services, and accidentally surrendered to the police. Reported by the Daily Mail.
On Saturday, September 4, at about one in the morning, the rescue service received a call. The operator on duty heard only snoring and groans. The call was traced back to a 23-year-old resident of Waldbröl, North Rhine-Westphalia. The police officers drove to the indicated address.
The sleeping man's 21-year-old neighbor opened the door and let the police in, who immediately noticed the strong smell of hemp. They woke up the caller of the rescue service, and at first he did not understand why the police officers were standing in front of him. The man insisted that he did not seek help, but after checking the call history, it turned out that he fell asleep on the phone and accidentally dialed the emergency number.
After the search, various drugs and a large amount of cash were seized from the apartment. “The amount is rather big. Both men are suspected of drug trafficking, ”said a police spokesman.
It is reported that the men had previously been detained on suspicion of drug trafficking, and now they face criminal charges. They were released from custody on bail pending the investigation.
Earlier it was reported that in the Indian city of Gandhinagar, Gujarat, drunken buffaloes gave away farmers who illegally produced alcohol. The police searched the farm and found 101 bottles of homemade liquor, which the brothers had hidden in the cattle drinker and in the hay the animals ate.
