A distinctive feature of the current stage of the COVID pandemic is the increased incidence among young people, said Alexey Pogonin, head physician of the Moscow Spasokukotsky hospital.
“We are now seeing an increase in the number of incomes of young people. Their number is growing every day, ”Pogonin said on the air of the Russia 24 channel.
In the spring, like last year, older people were more often hospitalized with coronavirus.
Earlier it was reported that in the Ivanovo region, due to the growth of new cases of COVID-19 at the entrances to the region, the access regime was increased. At the entrance, traffic police officers are asked to provide a certificate of full vaccination, or a negative test for coronavirus or the presence of antibodies to it.
The authorities of St. Petersburg on June 13 announced that they were forced to introduce new restrictions due to the increase in the incidence of coronavirus in the city, “corresponding to the real epidemiological situation.”
