The dismissal of the rector of the Russian State Social University Natalya Pochinok until September 6 is formal. This was announced to the radio station “Echo of Moscow” by the dean of the faculty of communicative management of the university, Igor Romanov.
“This decision, I stress, was not made as a result of an audit. The decision was made on the basis of a formal protocol in order to carry out the check as much as possible, ”Romanov said.
Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, during an unscheduled inspection, temporarily dismissed Natalia Pochinok, the rector of the Russian State Social University.
According to Romanov, the removal of the rector is part of the formal procedure used to obtain and verify information.
He noted that the Ministry of Education and Science conducts such checks not only at the RSSU, but also at other universities.
“We hope that everything will be successful, and we will continue to work in the same lineup in which we have worked until now,” added Igor Romanov.
