Turkey has successfully tested a Bozdoğan air-to-air missile. The way she hits the drone is caught in the video.
According to Voennoye Obozreniye, the Bozdoğan rocket hit the target from the first shot. An unmanned aerial vehicle from Turkish Aerospace Industries participated in the tests. The Bozdoğan rocket was launched from the F-16 fighter of the Turkish Air Force (Air Force).
It is noted that Bozdoğan is a long-range missile, which is a development of the Gökdoğan missile.
The video shows how Bozdoğan comes off the mount under the fighter's left wing and flies towards the target. Experts note that the target of the rocket – the drone – moved much slower than itself. Therefore, it is difficult to talk about the effectiveness of the new missile against a high-speed and maneuverable target.
