Winemakers rejoice and expect to make up for what they have lost.
Champagne breaks sales records in France.
This was reported on TSN.Ranok December 21.
So, by the end of the year, local winemakers expect to sell 315 million bottles and gain over six billion euros.
Last year, due to lockdowns and restrictions, sales fell sharply. However, now the demand for champagne in France is such that it is not enough for everyone. Winemakers rejoice and hope to make up for what they have lost. And also to compensate for the weather hardships – due to the spring frosts, they lost part of the grape harvest.
