British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss will visit Moscow on February 9 and discuss with the Russian authorities ways to resolve the crisis in Ukraine, a spokesman for the British Foreign Office said on the official website.
The British Minister's visit will last two days. It became known that the main topic for negotiations during the diplomatic meeting will be the crisis on the border between Russia and Ukraine. Before the flight, Truss again mentioned the possibility of imposing anti-Russian sanctions in the event of an escalation of the conflict between Moscow and Kiev.
Truss had previously planned to visit Moscow in early February, but the trip was postponed due to a positive test result for COVID-19. The minister observed the regime of self-isolation and worked from home.
