The Czech Parliament has extended the emergency regime in the country until December 12

The Parliament of the Czech Republic voted to extend the emergency regime due to the coronavirus until December 12, TASS reports.

56 deputies supported the extension of the restrictive measures. 42 parliamentarians voted against.

The emergency mode due to the coronavirus has been in effect in the Czech Republic since October 5. It expired on November 20.

According to Johns Hopkins University, for the entire time of the pandemic in the Czech Republic, 479,020 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded, 6856 people died.

Earlier it became known that mass protests against quarantine with the slogans of the 1989 revolution were held in Prague.
