According to the company's annual report, $ 2.17 million was spent on refunds to players. Refunds were requested by about 30 thousand gamers, about 95 percent of the applications have already been satisfied. The report states that Cyberpunk 2077 became the largest game in the studio's history, with an estimated 13.7 million copies sold in 2020.

In a statement from CD Projekt RED, it is clarified that in 2020 the company's revenues exceeded 2.1 billion zlotys, or about 550 million dollars, which is about four times more than in 2019. CD Projekt RED's net profit grew sixfold to PLN 1.15 billion, which is about $ 304 million.

In total, more than 1.2 billion zlotys, or about 320 million dollars, were spent on the development and promotion of Cyberpunk 2077. “We remain ambitious and do our best to bring Cyberpunk 2077 to a level where everyone can fully enjoy the game, regardless of platform,” said studio CEO Adam Kiciński.

The launch of Cyberpunk 2077 turned into a scandal due to numerous bugs and problems in the game. At the end of December, CD Projekt RED offered disgruntled users a refund for the game. Earlier it became known that Sony will remove the title from its PlayStation Store.
