The creator of the foundations of modern Russian nuclear weapons, scientist and academician Yuri Trutnev died at the age of 93. This was announced by a representative of the state corporation “Rosatom”, reports RIA Novosti.
“This is a great loss not only for the Russian nuclear industry, but also for our entire country, whose defense capability Yury Alekseevich has devoted his long and bright life to,” said the agency's interlocutor.
