The Tagansky Court of Moscow approved a fine for the social network TikTok in the amount of 1.5 million rubles for refusing to remove prohibited content.
Court spokesman Zulfiya Gurinchuk told Interfax that TikTok's appeal against the magistrate's decision was not satisfied.
As the website kp.ru wrote, at the end of May 2021, the Magistrates' Court of the Tagansky District of Moscow fined the social network TikTok 1.5 million rubles for refusing to delete information prohibited in Russia.

Earlier, experts from the Association of Professional Users of Social Networks and Messengers identified about 1.7 thousand videos on TikTok promoting suicide among adolescents. As noted by experts, this is the highest indicator among large media platforms. It is noted that the study was conducted from the end of March to June of this year. In addition to the TikTok network, experts also analyzed content on Facebook, Instagram and VKontakte.
