On March 22, the Lefortovo Court of Moscow sentenced Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny to 9 years in a strict regime colony.

Judge Margarita Kotova found the politician guilty of “fraud” and “insulting” the court.
During the debate, prosecutor Nadezhda Tikhonova asked Navalny to be sentenced to 13 years in prison
