MOSCOW, September 1. / TASS /. A magistrate court in Moscow on Wednesday fined Facebook 5,000 rubles for failure to provide information. TASS was informed about this in court.
“Facebook lnc. Was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under Article 19.7 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation and was sentenced to an administrative fine in the amount of five thousand rubles,” said the agency's interlocutor.
Earlier, the court fined the company 49 million rubles for refusal to remove prohibited information.
Since February, Roskomnadzor has been drawing up administrative protocols in relation to social networks and instant messengers that have not removed calls, including to minors, to participate in unauthorized actions.
