Xiaomi recently unveiled its first flexible screen smartphone, the Mi Mix Fold. It is cheaper than its competitors – prices start at 9999 yuan (about 115 thousand rubles). Now the approximate cost of repairing the device has become known.
A section with the cost of repairing Mi Mix Fold has appeared on the official Xiaomi website. As an example, we used a variant of a smartphone with 16 GB of RAM and a ceramic body.
As it turned out, the most expensive part of the Mi Mix Fold is the motherboard. Its non-warranty cost is 5100 yuan (about 60 thousand rubles). The whole Xiaomi 11 Pro smartphone costs almost the same. The next part at the price of Mi Mix Fold is a flexible screen. It is priced at 3900 yuan (about 46 thousand rubles). The external screen of the smartphone costs only 700 yuan (about 8,000 rubles). The cheapest component here is the wide angle lens. It is priced at 55 yuan (about 700 rubles).
