The cosmonauts congratulated everyone on Victory Day from the ISS (VIDEO)
The ISS crew members congratulated all the inhabitants of the Earth on Victory Day. The video was published by Roskosmos.
Festive greetings were sent by Oleg Novitsky, Petr Dubrov and Mark Vande Hai. The cosmonauts called May 9, 1945 one of the main events of the last century, which determined the peaceful development of mankind.
Novitsky said that the memory of the Great Victory will always be sacred for Russians.
“We will honor the memory of the millions of victims at the cost of which our grandfathers and great-grandfathers stopped the forces of destruction and returned peace to the people, the right to life and the right to freedom,” said the Russian.
American Wande Hai noted that the work of astronauts on the ISS is an excellent example of discoveries and research for the benefit of all mankind.
Together, the cosmonauts congratulated the earthlings on Victory Day. Among the wishes were – a peaceful sky, well-being, joy and health.
Earlier, the Russians called Victory Day the most important holiday. The respondents named New Year as the second most important holiday, the third place in the rating was taken by the birthday (92%).
