Doctors of the Cosmonaut Training Center assessed the condition of actress Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko, who arrived on the ISS the day before, as normal, Dmitry Rogozin, the head of Roscosmos, wrote in Telegram.
“A communication session with the crew was carried out, according to the results, the CTC doctors assess the condition of the space flight participants as normal, no deviations, no emergency situations, they are working according to plan,” he said.
The Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft with a film crew on board launched from Baikonur on October 5. Due to the failure of the automatic system, cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov had to dock the spacecraft with the station in manual mode. He was assisted by Peresild, and Shipenko filmed this moment for the future film “Challenge”.
The actress and director will spend 12 days at the space station. The first feature film, filmed on the ISS, tells the story of a doctor who flies into orbit to help an astronaut.
