Russian actress Yulia Peresild was photographed on the International Space Station (ISS) with her hair down due to the fact that there are no rules governing the appearance of astronauts. Irina Pronina, a member of the cosmonaut training squad of NPO Energia, told about this in an interview with “360”.
“As for the hairstyle – who likes what. But in order not to interfere, the girls tie their hair in a ponytail. To make it look spectacular in the picture, they dissolve it, ”she explained.
According to her, for hair care, astronauts use special hygiene products that are applied to the head. Pronina noted that most of them on the ISS are presented in the form of gels. This is done so that nothing is scattered around the station.
Pronina stressed that astronauts can not only choose any hairstyle for themselves, but also clothes. The main thing in this regard is convenience, added the interlocutor of the publication.
Let us remind you that actress Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko arrived at the ISS to shoot the film “Challenge”. This will be the first ever film shot with the participation of professional actors in space. The film crew will stay at the station for 12 days.
Earlier, the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin said that the doctors of the Cosmonaut Training Center assessed the condition of Peresild and Shipenko, who arrived at the ISS, as normal.
