Coach of the Russian youth team Zubov on the victory over Switzerland: they could have played better

The Russian national team could have played better in the World Youth Championship match against Switzerland. This is how its head coach Sergei Zubov reacted to the first victory of the Russian team in the tournament, quoted by the website of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (FHR).
“We could have played better today. We had moments, but we did not take advantage of many of them, ”the specialist said. He also expressed his satisfaction with the fact that hockey players from different levels showed up with abandoned washers. Separately, Zubov noted the high level of discipline demonstrated by the Russians.
The meeting against Switzerland took place on the night of Tuesday, December 28. The Russian national team won with a score of 4: 2.
After two rounds, Zubov's team has three points, the team takes third place in the group. On December 30, the Russians will meet with Slovakia.
