The coach of Ukraine commented on the result of the match against Russia at the World mini-football Championship

The head coach of the Ukrainian national mini-football team, Alexander Kostenko, commented on the defeat of the Russian national team in the semifinals of the European Championship. His words are quoted by the Futsal Association of Ukraine.
Kostenko expressed gratitude to the fans for their support in the stands of the stadium in Amsterdam. He also noted that participation in such a match attracted attention to the sport and will have a positive impact on its development in Ukraine. Kostenko believes that his team looked decent in the confrontation with the Russians.
The Russian national team was stronger than Ukraine in the semifinals of the European Championship. Domestic football players outplayed their opponents with a score of 3:2. Nevertheless, a minute before the end of the match, Ukraine had a chance to even the score. The Russian goalkeeper deflected a penalty.
The Russian national team will play in the decisive match of the tournament with the current champions — Portugal. Ukraine will compete for bronze medals in a duel against Spain. Both matches will be held on February 6.
