In Eigbert, a suburb of Liverpool, a man bought a cup of tea for 50 pounds (five thousand rubles) instead of 2.5 pounds (247 rubles) and helped the owner of the cafe make the dream of a charity event a reality. Reported by Liverpool Echo.

Brady Maloney, 42, the co-founder and manager of the cafe, said that one day a visitor came to the establishment whom she most likely had not seen before. She could not determine exactly who was in front of her because of the medical mask. The client ordered a cup of tea, and when it came time to pay for the order, he took out a few bills from his wallet.

Maloney was surprised and said that the man gave her too much money, but he did not agree and replied that this amount was not enough. It turned out that the client found out about a charity event that the owner of the cafe was planning to hold in the cafe with a business partner, 44-year-old Kat Williams, and wanted to support it.

On Christmas Day, women will serve free drinks and treat those in need with baked goods for several hours. Another goal of the event is to create a space for those who have no one to share the joy of the holiday with.

The man's good deed moved Maloney to tears, and she immediately told Williams about the incident.

Earlier it was reported that a company of 24 people left a tip 148 thousand rubles to the waitress. The woman did not believe what was happening and asked if she could share the cash with her colleagues, who were also shocked by the kind gesture of the visitors.
