The Chumakov Center told about plans to produce their vaccine against COVID-19

Head of the Center. Chumakova Aydar Ishmukhametov on the air of the Russia 1 TV channel spoke about the intention to produce in Russia at least 7.5 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine “KoviVac” by the end of 2021.

“Until the end of the year, I believe that it will be about 7.5 million (doses) minimum,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Earlier it was reported that the Chumakov Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences submitted documents to the World Health Organization (WHO) to undergo prequalification of its vaccine against the CoviVac coronavirus.
