A 62-year-old man who systematically corrupted his relative was convicted in the Sumy region. He will spend the next six years in prison.
The incident occurred in one of the villages of the Shostka district. According to the investigation, the accused pensioner was often visited by his relative, who always took his little granddaughter with him.
The 62-year-old man had his own bathhouse in the courtyard of the house, and the girl’s grandfather liked to relax there. While he was inside, a relative committed depraved acts with his six-year-old granddaughter. The girl was silent about what was happening under the pressure of threats for more than a year.
However, later the victim’s mother noticed that everything was not well with her daughter, and the girl confessed everything. On the same day, after the mother’s appeal to the police, the grieving relative was detained.
The 62-year-old man denied his guilt to the last, but during the investigation a number of examinations were carried out, and the fact of corruption was confirmed.
The pensioner was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 156 (Corruption of a minor committed by a family member) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
