Today Rostec has published a new photo related to the newest fighter, which will be shown for the first time at the MAKS-2021 air show. Thanks to this, it became clear that the aircraft would be able to destroy land and sea targets.
The image in the sight of the fighter reflects an object similar to the British destroyer Defender. As a source in the military-industrial complex explained to TASS, this indicates the aircraft's ability to deal with such objects.
“The new image contains a detail that resembles an optical-electronic sighting system built into an aircraft. Such equipment is used for strikes against ground targets and, if necessary, against sea targets, ”the source said.
Recall that it is known about the new fighter that it will be equipped with one engine, will be able to develop supersonic speed and has low radar signature.
