The British found a meter dinosaur footprint on the coast
In the British county of Yorkshire, a woman named Marie Woods was gathering shellfish for lunch when she saw a meter-long dinosaur footprint. The Daily Mail writes about the find.
The fingerprint was analyzed by scientists. It turned out that he was about 150 million years old. Presumably, the trail was left by a megalosaurus.
The print is 90 cm long. This is the most massive track ever found in this area of the UK. Researchers took a snapshot of the print, after which a 3D model of it will be created.
Earlier, a four-year-old girl accidentally found a dinosaur footprint on the beach. Lily Wilder discovered the unusual find in early January while walking with her father.
