On the evening of Wednesday, February 16, when Ukraine was celebrating Unity Day amid the threat of a Russian invasion, the British Foreign Office showed a gesture of solidarity with our state.

The building of the office of the British Foreign Office was illuminated with the colors of the national flag of Ukraine, as the message says, “as a sign of solidarity with the people of Ukraine.”
Recall that on the evening of February 16, the government building in Kiev, as well as the buildings of regional state administrations in all regions of Ukraine, were illuminated with blue and yellow colors.
On the same day, Ukrainians in all regions showed solidarity despite the intimidation of a big war due to the Russian invasion. In many cities, residents took to the streets with state flags.
