A 22-year-old Polish soldier was found with a gunshot wound to the head near the Belarusian-Polish border near the training center in Belovezh, where soldiers of the 9th Tank Brigade are stationed.
This was reported on Thursday, January 27, by the Polish edition RMF24.
According to the publication, a serviceman of the 9th tank Brigade did not show up for a briefing at the place of duty the day before. He was later found with a gunshot wound to the head in a park near the training center.
A young soldier died as a result of a shot from a service weapon. The case is being investigated by the military police and the Prosecutor’s Office.
Psychological assistance is provided to native servicemen.
Recall that in December 2021, propaganda channels of Belarus and Russia distributed video conversations with a Polish soldier, 25-year-old Emil Chechko, who disappeared from his duty station the day before and crossed the Belarusian border.
