In the Kiev region, they are looking for flayers who brutally killed a wild hare and roe deer. Tortured animals were found near residential complexes.
The incident occurred on February 7 in the city of Irpin. A representative of the animal protection organization contacted the police.
“The police appeals to all caring citizens, if you have witnessed, do you have information about the brutal killing of wild animals in Irpin: report to the special line 102,” the message says.
Investigative actions continue near Lake Quarry, where the bodies of dead animals were found.
Criminal proceedings were opened under Part 1 of Art. 299 (cruel treatment of animals) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The sanction of the article provides for arrest for up to six months or restriction of freedom for up to three years. The pre-trial investigation continues.
