A resident of Great Britain exposed the girls' “ideal” appearance on social networks and surprised fans. The corresponding video appeared on TikTok.
Blogger and makeup artist Holly Cockerill posted a video in which she clearly proved that attractiveness in photos on social networks is often fake. So, the 26-year-old heroine of the material shared a series of pictures in which she is depicted before and after careful retouching.
For example, in the first frame, women are posing in a blue dress with a cutout that exposes the waist, with an unemotional face, bright makeup that hides all the flaws, and neatly curly hair. Next, the makeup artist showed the original version of the photo: it can be seen that she is actually smiling, she is wearing more natural makeup, and her hair is careless.
In another photo, Cockerill is captured in a light-fitting dress with a wide open mouth, perfectly shaped white teeth, bright makeup with an emphasis on the eyes and straightened hair on both sides of her face. However, in the original frame, the heroine of the material is depicted with rolled and slanted eyes and closed lips. In addition, a strand of her hair rests on one side of her shoulder.
“I don’t use the pictures that I posted here. I did this just to show how easy it is for people to edit their photos. We girls should never compare ourselves to a picture on the internet. Don't be fooled, ”said the heroine of the material.
The post went viral and got 4.3 million views and more than 500 thousand likes.
