The operation in the Kursk region was the biggest blow to Russia's image since the first months of 2022. Because of this, the aggressor state does not evoke sympathy from Asian and Latin American media.
This was stated on air by diplomat, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (2014-2019) Pavlo Klimkin on Espresso.
He emphasizes that it is very important to understand this fact from the point of view of perception.
“This is the biggest blow to the image of the Russian regime after the first weeks and months of 2022. This is absolutely obvious,” – Klimkin said.
In particular, the diplomat adds, due to the events last week, the Russian Federation has not aroused sympathy among Asian and Latin American media.
“By the way, I have reviewed many Asian, Latin American, African ones, but I think that there is approximately the same logic with certain amendments. Russia does not have any special sympathy in this whole situation, does not generate or arouse it – this is quite obvious,” Klimkin noted.
Recall that the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to evacuate settlements in the Kursk region. For now they control Sudzha, Lyubimovka, Goncharovka, Lebedevka, Kurilovka, Plekhovo and others.
