Fox News: “A Christmas Carol” and “Home Alone” Are Among the Best New Years Movies

The American television channel Fox News has published a list of the best films of all time to watch during the New Year holidays. First of all, the audience was advised to watch the animated film “A Christmas Carol” (2009) by Robert Zemeckis, which tells the story of the banker and curmudgeon Ebenezer Scrooge.
The channel also recommends the film “Charlie Brown Christmas” (1965), which tells the story of a hero trying to find out the true meaning of Christmas, and the movie “Santa Claus” (1994) with Tim Allen in the title role. In addition, the list includes “Love Actually” (2003) with Hugh Grant and Keira Knightley, “The Grinch Stole Christmas” (2000), Christmas Vacation (1989), “Elf” (2003), “Die Hard” (1998) and Home Alone (1990).
Earlier it was reported that the American streaming service Netflix will release the American version of the film “Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!” The Hollywood project was named “About Fate”. The role of Lukashin was played by Thomas Mann, famous from the TV series “Fargo”. Unlike the hero of Andrei Myagkov, in the American version Lukashin is 30, not 40 years old.
