American boxer Claressa Shields defeated Marie-Yves Dicker and retained her world champion status in two versions. It is reported by “BBC”.
The 25-year-old athlete held the belts according to the versions of the World Boxing Council (WBC) and the World Boxing Organization (WBO), and also took away the belt of the World Boxing Association (WBA) and the crown of the International Boxing Federation (IBF) from her opponent. Thus, Shields went down in sports history, becoming the first undisputed champion among men and women in two weight categories (in the era of four belts).
