The International Ski Federation (FIS) explained the ban on Russian skiers from using the Katyusha instead of the national anthem. TASS reports.
The organization noted that the decision was joint. It was adopted by the national federation after discussion with the governing body of the sport. All interested parties agreed that the FIS anthem will be used by the Russians at all tournaments under the auspices of the organization.
