The Army of Moldova began military exercises near Ukrainian border and Russian-occupied Transnistria. On December 17, military personnel of the 22nd peacekeeping battalion will begin preparations for training in the Bulboak center near Transnistria.

Servicemen of the 22nd Peacekeeping Battalion will conduct training at the Bulboaca Training Center, located near Transnistria. Training continues from December 17 to December 22.
“In this regard, during the specified period, the movement of military equipment will be organized on national roads,” the Ministry of Defense notes.
Military training will be carried out in accordance with the National Army Training Plan for 2023.
The day before, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moldova could become “the next victim of the hybrid war unleashed by the West against Russia.” Chisinau responded to similar threats from a Russian politician.
