So impressive that its Android version has been downloaded over 1 billion times, according to Android Police.
This was facilitated by the rapid influx of new users at the beginning of the year against the background of the renewal of the user agreement of WhatsApp and the recent failure of Facebook, in which Telegram “got” about 70 million new users.
It is worth admitting, however, that the American messenger is still the leader in the number of downloads. It has been downloaded over 5 billion times on Google Play.
