On Tuesday, September 14, the Magistrate in Moscow fined Facebook another 21 million rubles for the company's refusal to remove content prohibited in the country. Thus, the total amount of fines imposed on the corporation in Russia exceeded 90 million rubles. This was reported by the press service of the Tagansky court.

“Punishments were imposed in the form of administrative fines, in total in five cases, in the amount of 21 million rubles,” RIA Novosti quotes the court's statement.

As specified, the court drew up protocols on parts 2 and 4 of Article 13.41 of the Administrative Code “violation of the procedure for restricting access to information.” For a similar article, Twitter and Telegram are involved, the protocols of which will be considered later.

Recall that at the end of July, the court fined Facebook six million rubles for refusing to remove prohibited content. Shortly before that, the company was fined 17 million rubles for the same offense. The day before, there was a warning that in September Facebook, Twitter and Telegram face new fines for refusing to delete prohibited information.
