According to the portal Theverge, the American was found guilty of violating one of the US laws, according to which he should not have any contact with his ex-wife. He renamed the names of the playlists in the Napster music app to messages to his wife.
As Theverge notes, the former spouse did not insult, but tried to improve relations with the woman. He was able to do this due to the fact that before the breakup they shared the same account in the Napster application (similar to Spotify). The court sentenced him to a suspended sentence.
It is also noted that some users of the same Spotify complain that strangers can listen to their playlists. And also write messages, often offensive.
