Glavgosexpertiza of Russia issued a positive conclusion on the project for the construction of a new building for the Almazov Center.
This is the third stage of the project to create a scientific and clinical neurosurgical complex on Zapovednaya Street. It is planned to construct a building for clinical diagnostic laboratories with an area of 2.3 thousand m2.
“The laboratory diagnostics center will be divided into administrative and economic, laboratory zones and a storage area for biological material,” the commentary on the Glavgosexpertiza website says.
All work will be funded from the federal budget.
The Almazov Center announced a tender for the construction of a new building in early August. As “DP” wrote, the initial contract price was 218 million rubles.
The complex must be put into operation no later than February 2023.
From September 1, the Almazov Center, previously redesigned to work with COVID patients, will resume scheduled admission of patients.
